Does anyone else on SP listen to Hardcore bands such as Bury Your Dead, etc., or Metalcore bands such as Unearth? I would like to see if I am the only person who loves this stuff.

And Slipknot doesn't count. 9 guys who can't play music in a band is definatly not good.

I like non-rap based Hardcore. I used to like Biohazard, until 'Mata Leao' came out. 'State of the World's Address' is excellent though!

These days I listen to more folk and pagan inspired metal as its less of the cringeworthy macho lyrics and guitar sound.

Try www.metal-archives.com . You can check tons of bands by country or by genre. I discovered lots of different unique bands though that site.

I don't like hardcore that much, but metalcore is very enjoyable.

Unearth is awesome. There are others that i listen like Mastodon, Killswitch Engage, Converge, All Shall Perish, 3 Inches Of Blood (imagine tradicional 80's heavy metal -shrieking vocals included- played by a metalcore band) and some others i can't recall...

I despise Hardcore/Metalcore. That punk**** was bad enough in it's pure form. At least that was humourous...
And besides, they're all frickin' vegetarians...

I don't like current American hardcore/metalcore. It's mainly the vocals (what is this screeching crap?), and the fact they've ripped off virtually every Gothenburg riff ever penned. Write something original for godssakes.

    Very PC SleepleSS!

I know what you mean Tassadar - Gothenburg riff, (with harsh vocals), beatdown section with whiney 'clean vocals' followed by a fearfactory type riff.

Anyone like Isis or Jesu? I am going to seem them next week.

@Cesard PC? What does that mean in the context? Do you mean I made a very immature remark?

P.C. = Politically Correct. I didn't think it was immature, just funny (as I assume intended it to be).

    No offense intended.
