    Damn, I bet that theory was invented by a man trying to explain why men always have to answer questions on topics which they know nothing about. Thus it must be particularly untrue as it is so detailed. ;)

    Same here. I can't resist answering questions about military (it started with jet aircraft at the age of 12 and then it extended multifold ...), foreign politis and history (my primary subjects in school and still a focus of interest) and international law (since I study that I can claim to learn while wasting my time here). And about games I play given I have the time.

    On things I'm not interested in I happily reply with: I don't know!", given I feel asked at all, unless I want to fool someone ...

    I must have a mild case, as my wife constantly complains that I say "I don't know" too much. Of course, if I have some requisite shred of knowledge on a topic, I'm more than happy to contribute my doctoral thesis to the conversation.

    I usually look at all the solutions that have been tried, for a particular problem. And since none of those worked, I try something different.

    I prefer end-arounds whenever possible. Which is probably why I like playing Thief...

    [​IMG] I've spent a lot of time with in company of exclusively males (and quite a bit with exclusively females ;) ) and I can vouch for the syndrome being very much a male trait. It does occasionally crop up in women, too; my sister's like that. I have immunity to the disease because I am always right to begin with.
