First off, are you Irish? I am.
Second, how did you celebrate St. Patty's Day? Did you drink your glass of green beer? I went to McDonalds and got my annual Shamrock Shake. It's been something I've been doing every year since I was a kid. My mom would pick my brother and I up from school and on the way home we would stop at McDonalds and get our shakes. My parents live in Chicago, my brother on Colorado Springs and I live in San Diego, but we all still go and get our shakes.

    I'm part Irish, but I'm 14 so I didn't drink, or have sex! What's the point. :p

My grandmother has some Irish blood so I have some too. But I don't feel any affinity to the Irish. I do like beer however. :D

I'd rather have a cool beer and an Irish green of the grass we played in.

Okay. Where were all of you brought up? If you were brought up and live in Ireland, you're Irish. If not, you're not. My grandad was scottish and his father Irish but I'm English. i was brought up and bred in England. I don't consider myself Irish or part scottish or whatever. That's like saying my son is scottish which he's not, he's English as he will be brought up in England. And if where you're born makes you that nationality, Vermillion is a Cypriot :)

I'm Irish as a Shamrock, but of course I don't drink beer of any sort -- and even if I did drink, I wouldn't drink green beer! :shake:

I'm a Dutch-boy ... but I went "real" on Saint Patty's day and drank a few pints of Guiness, then had a single malt wiskey.

Lunch (of course) was a Large Shamrock Shake & Fries (errr ... is that "chips" on St. Patty's day??? )

Okay. Depaara, you are Canadian. Just because everyone claims they have relatives way back or whatever does not make them Irish!!

My Grandpa was Irish! And Canadians rarely refer to themselves as such -- which is one of our big problems, in fact -- stupid Quebec separatists!

Though you do have a point, Shell -- I've never beed there, I don't have an accent, and I don't get 'faced every day (vicious stereotype, I know!) ;)
