    wat is it? where do i find it? and who can use it?

    That's a high-level abillity. you can only take it of you have whirlwind attack.

    High-level in this case is above 3,000,000 experience points -- that's total experience points, so multiclass and dual characters get the abilities at lower levels. As Chick states you need to have whirlwind attack first, so the second time you level up after 3 million XP you can choose Greater Whirlwind.

    Your character must be able to level in a warrior class (i.e., fighter, ranger, paladin and subclasses). Multiclass fighters can also choose these HLA's. Swashbucklers can choose whirlwind attack, but not greater whirlwind. Dual class characters can choose these abilities IF they are leveling in a warrior profession (hence, a mage dualled to fighter could get greater whirlwind, but a fighter dualled to mage could not).

    Ten attacks per round with the weapons found in ToB make whirlwind and greater whirlwind extremely valuable -- especially with weapons that have a set chance to instantly kill an opponent.

    Actually, think dual classed characters don't get HLA earlier... i discovered it after dual classing my 25 level thief into a fighter and had to wait another three million XP to get WWA...

    You need to have 3million XP in a class to get HLAs. If you had waited till your thief got his first HLA and then dualled him, you would again have been able to take HLAs after you had accumulated 3million XP as a fighter. Well if you are going down that route, I guess its better to start off as a fighter kit.
    Due to, what is considered a bug, your charecter thus dualled would be able to take HLAs of either class.
    Still, multiclass would be better. No?
