    Has anyone on here played the major games discussed, ie BG I or II, IceWind Dale I or II, NWN, Torment, etc from start to finish in on playing session? I know it would take a long time, but who knows.

    I think that you never want to play a game again after such an attempt...
    I would take days and for me that would have to take place during vacations... usually I have my vacations booked with social obligations and trips, so I don't tthink I will find the time to ever try this :(

    Me and my friends have just started on BG1. It surely takes a long time. They've just passed the FAI, and we have played for several hours...

    I started a speedball session once -- I made a group of players, I consoled in all sorts of goodies and hacked my way up to maximum level. Then I just charged out of chateau Irenicus and started for the end of the game -- no side quests, nothing, just to see how fast the game could be done. it took me a while, though I never timed it -- I suppose I really should someday, because it was quite fun.
