    [​IMG] Going on my 4th trip to Thailand to see my old man. I'll be there for two months and it appears the whole trip will only cost me $5000 New Zealand at the maximum (about $3000 US).

    Mostly going to see my father but I'll be sure to use my local knowledge to buy some nice elecronics and maybe get myself another suit tailored.

    I must reccomend Thailand, I love going there, great weather, beautiful food and there's always something to do no matter your age.

    Well, I will only be in Bankok 1-2 days, and I don't know when. I don't even know if I will get on the plane, because I have standby tickets.

    Yup, I was in Phuket during the tsunami. Luckily I was at least a mile out at sea on a boat at the time, safest place to be. However if I had left 30 minutes later I'd probably be dead.

    Well, here I am. Godsbedamned it's bloody hot. I arrived at about 65kg and I imagine I'll go home a 60kger or less.

    Place is great, stuff is cheap, food is beautiful... so are the women ;)

    Pity it can't last forever. Despite being under a 'coup' everything seems to be going along as if nothing has happened. The people who know what's going on don't care and anyone who cares probably isn't even in the country.

    Well, I got back from Thailand today. Spent the first five days (I think) in Phuket at Patong bay (iirc), and two days in Bankok. I bought a lot of stuff (which I had brought more money), and enjoyed the sun. I'd say the women are suspiciously "easy" over there... I concluded that this was because of one of these three reasons:

    1. They were prostitutes
    2. If they sat in a bar and began calling you in from the street and started hitting on you, they most likely worked for the bar
    3. Golddiggers.
