Glitches?

    [​IMG] I've had two glitches show up, one was a pain in the a**. I couldn't interact with any shops after getting out of Irenicus's lair.

    The first sign that some thing was wrong with that was when I went to the nymphs to get the genie flask, and they said they gave it to me, but it wasn't there.

    The other glitch I got was a scene played over again, the one where Saemian gives you the silver sword blade before leaving the spellhold island. Just as the githyanki's were attacking, he went and gave me another blade.

    Any one else run into some glitches like that? Each one only happend once, and as to the no shopping one, reloading a save didn't work. Had to Start a new game.

    Yes, I had a few glitches, but none that couldn't be fixed by just reverting to a saved game, thankfully.
    I can remember one in particular when the Giths attacked Saemon's ship... the ship never capsized! I fought the Giths, killed them all except for the Captain (unkillable - I must have dealt him about 500 damage after he went "agonizing" but he was still fighting). Still nothing happened. Doh.

    [​IMG] No unofficial patches or mods loaded. Just a few custom items in override folder, and am currently playing some other games with those items. And the current patch (not that beta patch) is installed.

    Like I said, it was just one time for each one, and I wondered if anyone else had the same kind of problems (recurring or not). My custom items are some weapons, and buckler that acts like the Shield of Balduran.

    I'm new to the customizing of items, so I just take from items that I like and alter them to suit my needs. Always thought that it was a bummer that a thief couldn't use that SoB, so I made a buckler with same abilities.

    First time I hear of these bugs. Are you sure your inventory wasn't full and that you didn't drop the item the nymphs were supposed to give you?

    I've had a few similar glitches. Sarevok's Sword of Chaos was never given to me when I gave the genie the flask. Also, several times, I complete the Lilacor puzzle and no sword. This all happened with the patch installed and no mods. I do know the cause for the Saemon bug though, and how to fix it.

    After you see the cutscene after leaving Brynnlaw, do not talk to Saemon, or he will be thrown into a loop. Let him initiate the dialog.
