Getting rid of "You must gather your party ..."

    I'm on about my 15th time through Baldur's Gate, and the "You must gather your party before venturing forth" thing is finally starting to get on my nerves, but I can't remember what you use to turn it off! :help: Can anyone help me?

    iirc, there are certain tweak packs in the BG download area of SP that fix certain things about the game, and that damn thing is included, you could check there :)

    I already checked there and couldn't find it, but I'll check again. (I'm told my refrigerator blindness extends to other things.)

    EDIT: I checked all of the categories again and still couldn't find anything. I know you can do it for BG2, but where is the BG1 fix?
    P.S. Tutu is out of the question.

    No, it is in the Ease of Use for BG2 which will also work if you are using BG Tutu to play the BG1 content but there is no equivalent in the BG 1 Ease of Use.

    Scroll down, the "fix" there is just a blank wav you throw in the override and it'll replace the annoying sound clip with silence. It'll work for both games (and probably all the other IE games as well).
