I'm getting the impression that if my party has flattened cranium rats in Weeping Stones, there's no way Nameless can talk his way out of Warrens of Thought without fighting his way to the exit, right? And how could you have avoided ratkilling in Weeping Stones? When the rats make their first appearance, they are marked with the red ring of hostility.

It would seem my best move now would be to avoid entering Thought. Once out of prison, the wererats are easy meat, but infuriating one cranium rat at a time with Mort's litany of curses and luring him away from the horde is booooring. Pity. I'd have liked to meet One-in-Many.

    Suggestions?

[IMG] Warrens of Thought area is not a MUST. You can enter inside just to get more XP and stuff (don't miss Murk - bottle!).

Inside you'll fight many rats and wererats. Finally you will talk to Many-As-One who will give you a certain task. If you tell him the truth about the Silent King, you'll be granted some of your lost memories (in fact - you get a lil' more XP, but nothing worth much). What will you say to him, and will you say anything at all depends on your current playing style.

However, I do suggest that you first go for Bronze Sphere through Flooded Nations, return the Sphere to Pharod, get Annah in the party and clean Warrens of Thought from rats then - for XP.

And no - you can't avoid hostility from rats unless you previously talked to Lothar. But that's completely another part of the game that comes later - so, no spoilers! ;)
