[IMG] I'm not sure whether it is a bug or not because in the first game I played, I went and talked to the guard in front of the tent where Aerie is and he moved after talking to him once or twice. I decided to start a new game as a mage but now I talked to the guard once and expected him to move to let me in and he won't. So I went and tried to talk to him again, but now he won't say anything!!! It just says that the guard has nothing to say to me! Has anyone had this problem?

I thought I did. I don't remember what I said but I thought it was what I said before. If I didn't, is there any way to undo what I have done without restoring a save? I don't want to backtrack all my steps.

[IMG] Tell him you're not scared and you wanta try your luck. He will move aside and warn you as well as free the city from blame in the event that you die. Sneaky...

The thing is that he won't even talk to me. I go up to him and the text reads that he has nothing to say to me.

[IMG] That shouldn't happen.. even if you ask to leave before going in, you should be able to talk to him. I'm not too sure, but I think it may be a glitch. Where did you save last? there was an autosave the moment you got into the city anyway, so just reinstall it then load your saved game. If that STILL doesn't work, you can just come back and ask again :)

Thanks. I think I'm just going to start over again. I've already done too much for me to have a save point before the tent. I went ahead and did a few other quests, hoping I would be able to talk to the guard. Thanks again for the help though.
