Interesting situations often occur.
A lot of topics have already written about funny dialogs. How about other interesting situations?

I give an example which happened to me a few months ago:

I was in the library of Arnise Keep.
When the contingency of the yuanti mage has triggered, Minsc got all (super) effects instead of the mage...

 

1) Kalah cast Magic Missile on his shades.
2) A de'Arnise guard healed the troll.

 

turned firkraag into stone and he still did a fireblast on my party, saying "time to perish manling" ... it was a mass funeral.
ok i had tactic's smarter dragons installed but THAT is no way smart or something like that.

i saw a lich kill himself with sphere of chaos (tactics mod/smarter liches).

the red dragon in small teeth pass (tactics mod) can sniff and spit over the whole map ...

 

Exploding people attacking you. You get a blob of person following you around casting spells and screaming at you. I've never seen the biology labs in the same way since

Hmm, , probably when I had two conflicting mods installed (Nalia and Tashia) and there was a dialogue with Nalias' friend in the keep and the rest of the party joined in.

Friend: I am so sorry about your father, Nalia
Nalia: It's okay, he'll be missed:
Friend: It was a terrible accident, he was respected by everyone.
Jan: But of course, the Griffin thought he was a turnip.

needless to say, I was pretty confused about that.

I had a bit of a problem with animation once, Minsc was stuck facing the wrong way, but armour and stuff faced the normal way, so it looked like he was using a sword from his backside...

 

When I'm playing my PC suddenly starts to walk backwards. All the other ones is walking normally

 

My friend told me once about a Solar he summoned got charmed, but when his Kelsey got hurt the Solar (now hostile) drifted over and healed him.

 

I do not know whether the following thing is normal or strange (maybe the Tiger Strike causes it):

Balthazar: 1 + 17 = 18: Hit

 

I got into a fight with some clerics once and instead of attacking they just stood there casting healing spells on me. Easiest fight ever!

 

Jan cast Black Blade of Disaster, and it never expired. He had it equipped for days.

 

Poisoned an invisible Efreeti in Windspear Hills, and the piece of mask disappeared when the Efreeti died.

 

During Underdark my solo Sorcerer slept with Phaere then went to the docks and Jaheria (from across the map) starts up a convo about how I shouldn't have slept with Phaere (I had never had her in my party, mind you). I talk her down about it and Jaheria is in my party, with the appropriate Lovetalk value. Cheated her outta whining about Khalid, I did. Unfortunately, after I slept she brought up Phaere again (remarkably similar conversation as the last time). And wouldn't stop, every time we slept. Needless to say this had to end, so I had her imprisoned and was done with the lot of it.

Had a new one today: I was carrying around a bunch of high level scrolls and protection scrolls in a case, and it was full. Then I came across a merchant with yet another case to buy. I bought the case and tried to put a scroll in it, but it was already full. When I checked its contents, it turned out that it had exactly the same contents as the case I was already carrying, so that I now have twice as many of everything, and still no room for new scrolls (not like I'm complaining!).

 

Every time a hostile mage or lich cast protection from evil, then cast gate and I moved my whole party out of sight, the fiend will attack the mage or lich himself even though he is protected from evil. So all I got to do was to read the battle message until either the spell caster or fiend was dead(usually the latter) then I finish the rest.(Is this what they called cheesy?)

 

In the battle with huumm, Cromir? You know that dumn 1/2 orc in Sulda...? You know the first town in TOB. Anyway each time Edwin casted a spell he summoned 10-15 squirell instead, after 4-5 spell I had a army of squirell! unfortunatly They got kill in no time

Edwin cast Time stop
Edwin: Squirell time!
Squirell attack ¨1/2 orc¨ : 18-10 = 8 miss
¨1/2 orc¨¨attack squirell: 2+8 = 10 hit
¨1/2 orc¨ did 14 damage to squirell
Squirell died

weeeeeeeeeeiiiiiiiiiiiirrrrrrdddd

Another one:

In SOA, with the battle with a radom orc group in Windspear hill Imoen got her spell interupted (spelling?) but the spell was cast aferall!

Imoen Spell interupted
Imoen: The magic fizzeled (spelling?)
Imoen casted Fireball
Imoen did 19 damage to orc
....

( Blast BIS for making such hard name to remember! Bob the 1/2 orc barbarian, no?)

Did you, perchance, Shadowkeeper'd Edwin to a Wild Mage?

 

I was thinking along the same lines. The "army of squirrels" is a random effect of wild magic. The only other thing I can think of is if you accidentally (or on purpose) changed the surge number (CTRL-H, I believe) to where any spell cast runs the risk of creating a wild surge. If that is set to anything but zero any spell you cast, be it priest or mage, will cause a surge.

It's a thought anyway.

 

Nope Didn't use Shadowkeeper to change anything on Edwin, I had a Wild Mage PC though, anyway that was funny

isn't there an army of squirrels when you castthe smaller wish and want an army that attacks your enemys?

 

I thought that the duplicating bags with everything doesn't really give you two of everything. If you take one out of one, it's out of the other too.

THat happens with the item numbers are identical. I brought in a bag of holding at one point, then found one... they had that happen where they were duplicating everything LOL but I just used them to pass items between my two characters.
