[IMG] I want to try out BGTuTu and it says that I have to install EVERYTHING for it to work, so I tried it. But during the installation, after I check all the boxes, a dialog box pops up and tells me that I don't have enough space to install it and if I still want to install anyway.

But when I check explorer, it says that that drive has 5GB left of free space.. what gives?

Wow, haven't heard that one before. Just click okay to install anyways; it's complete BS. I think it has something to do with when BG came out.

Agreeing with Fel here. BG came out when a gig of harddrive space was only in your imagination.

The game is old enough that FAT16 was standard. FAT16 could have maximum 2gb partition size. In short, the game doesn't understand that there exist harddrives with more than 2GB.

Wow, that's old! I guess then in these day modems didn't even reached 28 ko/sec...

But I thought it was due to Win95 that couldn't think that more than 2gb is possible

BG1 takes 2.5GB, but Tutu is really worth it.
Try the multiple installations so you can still play BG2 as well.

Same problem, same source. Win95 only had FAT16, but more recent versions use FAT32. The same applies to games.

just an update. For some reason the tutu didn't work so i just un and then re installed everything again and I'm about to hit the Cloakwood mines right now :)

btw, does Shar-Teel really just stay for a short period of time or does a CG alignment with a 19 rep have anything to do with it?

Shar-Teel is evil; a 19 rep means she'll break, just like any of the other evil NPCs. Except for that, she'll stay with you until the end after you defeat her the first time.
