    [IMG] • First, THANKS to ALL of YOU, who VOTE and/or comment !

    This Poll is clearly a success ; 50 votes is already a very good score, and I have decided to begin an analysis for a very easy reason : when I draw your attention toward a specific percentage, you can simply take the half ... and then obtain the exact number of persons who have voted. ;) Example : 28% in a category mean that 14 persons have chosen it ! Cool for calculations, hmm ? :heh:

    The CAUSES of this high participation are difficult enough to state precisely :

    — For people who WANT go in the Real Sword Coast, the divers reasons are obvious enough, to me :

    1) Disgust of our real (?) world, viewed as a Special Inferno Pit ;
    2) Attraction from the “marvellous” factor, the true “fantasy” atmosphere, or even the “Faërie” attractiveness, dear to J.R.R. Tolkien ;
    3) Thirst to fill up the Void in our Soul, (or try to fill it) ;
    4) Cares to obtain Powers, to control surroundings and/or other people, because it is very rarely possible on Earth ;
    5) Desire to rejoin the already-loved world of BG1, where the person has already obtained a lot of pleasure.
    6) Natural temper of “lunar” type (imagination rules all in the life of the person who voted at the Poll).
    7) Love of the Magic for Magic.

    — For people who DO NOT WANT go to the Real Sword Coast, the reasons to participate are much less obvious :

    a) For some, it’s can be the regret to NOT be personally able to respond to the call, (due to fright or any other reasons !), BUT yet beeing able, very subtileley, to show that they ALSO EXIST, and would also WISH to be able to be << saved >> of our real (?) world, if ALL INCONVENIENCES WERE REMOVED (for us, name that : “Paradise’s Call”, perhaps :) ...)
    b) For the others ... The mystery remain, or then, the reasons are of very diverse sorts ; but they HAVE voted, anyway.

    •  For the results themselves, they are, for the FIRST question (from “Enthusiastic” to “Fully Hostile”) :

    The 3 positives responds, 14 %, 28 %, 08 % ;
    The 3 neutral answers --, 10 %, 04 %, 04 % ;
    The 3 negative replies --, 12 %, 14 %, 06 % .

    Here a graphic with the number of opinions :

    14—..I
    13—..I
    12—..I
    11—..I
    10—..I
    9 —..I
    8 —..I
    7 —I I ......... I
    6 —I I ....... I I
    5 —I I . I ... I I
    4 —I I I I ... I I
    3 —I I I I ... I I I
    2 —I I I I I I I I I
    1 —I I I I I I I I I

    <— Very favorable ... Neutral ... Very unfavorable —>

    • Then the SECOND question [all sufferings beeing removed, and “Fully Hostile Reply” unavailable (since fear of fire mean little if pain is suppressed !) ] :

    The 3 positives responds, 26 %, 26 %, 04 % ;
    The 3 neutral answers --, 08 %, 06 %, 06 % ;
    The 2 negative replies --, 12 %, 12 %, xx %.

    Then the graphic becomes :

    14—
    13—I I
    12—I I
    11—I I
    10—I I
    9 —I I
    8 —I I
    7 —I I
    6 —I I ....... I I
    5 —I I ....... I I
    4 —I I . I ... I I
    3 —I I . I I I I I
    2 —I I I I I I I I
    1 —I I I I I I I I x

    <— Very favorable ... Neutral ... Very unfavorable —>

    ... As you see, if pain is removed, enthusiastical moods fly up, but Ethical Negative Replies don’t fall ! ... neither Heavy Negative Replies : FEAR OF SPIDERS near don’t fall, with 14% becoming 12% !

    — I leave to you the care to bring, below, other comments or more analysis, but guys who havn’t already voted to the Poll can always do it, indeed !

    (It’s will be ALWAYS useful, then thanks to the newcomers to do it).

    Don't take this the wrong way, but you might want to look into getting a girlfriend, or something.

    Don't be so hard on him, he left the boards for an undefined amount of time, apparently...I guess he was rather pissed off. :shrugs:

    Killjoy, that's the funniest post I've seen on these forums in a long, long time. Bravo.

    It's worth noting the (not so gradual) increase in post numbers from Cal to Barmy (those in between included)...

    What in Gods name are you talking about man? I found a joke funny, so I laughed. I don't know what my post count over 3+ years has to do with that guys over a month or two... I don't know where I got dragged into this :lol:

    Reading your earlier post you probably shouldn't be included in my comment, as I was reffering to those concurring with Killjoy's comment. I was showing a statistical add on to BlkDeth's comment (which was even funnier).
