Awesome game. Incredible combat system - easily superior to the Baldur's series. Not nearly as buggy as expected - mostly annoyances.

The only real thing hampering the game in my opinion is the monotony of being in the Temple for such an extended period. I realize that is obviously by design but after a while I needed some air.
The Nodes were a nice twist but *whoa* talk about buggy. I had to save and load almost constantly in the nodes fearing a fatal hang.

I will never, ever forget the Balor battle. Took me 2 days to drop that thing. I only wish the ending was as climactic.

By the way - it seems to me that POR: Ruins Of Myth Dannor is a game this crowd would like. I played the demo last night and bought it immediately. Fully 3D rendered and a similar combat system to TOEE? I'm there. I will miss the slick TOEE interface but I'll live. People here should check it out if you havent already. I know it has a bad rep but if you are avoiding it because of reviews it might be a mistake - it seems to me it is tailor made for this crowd.

Anyway, just my thoughts! Bring on a TOEE engine sequel!
