Possibly but as you are still restricted to the exp cap as the rest of the PC's then you could find that getting to 12th in each would be about ya lot. Useful but hardly god like.Of course if you could get to 20th+ in each then you would be a minor diety.

Definitely the X-cap is the fmt´s problem. Due to this he´ll unfortunately only be mediocre in all his professions.
Using the x-cap-remover (and possibly playing him through two or three times) you can make him strong, but you´ll get problems with the future add-on "throne of bhaal" for which the the x-cap leaves some space.
However, would BG-2 have no x-cap this would be the character of my choice.

[IMG] Ah, you poor benighted souls...
From Sorcerer's Place news on Jan 30th:

We all knew it was in the works since we first heard about the development of BG2, but now it's been confirmed. (If not yet officially).
Voodoo Extreme reports that the European offices of Interplay have passed along a press release (that isn't up at its site) stating that an add-on for Baldur's Gate II is in the works and it's called Baldur's Gate II : The Throne of Bhaal.

EBWorld seems to agree, as they have it (The Throne of Bhaal) slated for a 5/31/2001 release. More butt-kicking for goodness coming up!

[IMG] My experience playing a multi class fighter/mage is, simply put, well, he sucked. Actually, compared to other characters, he was less that mediocre at everything. I can't imagine how weak a multi fighter/mage/thief would be. However, a multi fighter/druid or a multi fighter/cleric seemed to play reasonably well.

Ranger Clerics are VERY versatile and powerful. Especially dual-wielding the Flail of Ages and Crom Faeyer.
