I'm nearly finished all the optional quests of Chapter 2, and havn't recieved my first stronghold quest, although I do rule the keep. But then I have hardly rested, and usually complete several quests a day.

But when I go off to Spellhold and the Underdark, will the quests halt untill I return or will I lose the keep for not returning in time?

If I will lose the keep, I'll have to continuosly rest until I complete all my stronghold quests.

You do loose the keep. A friend of mine went there just before going to Brynlaw and when he came back from the underdark he didn't rule it anymore (well, he said he didn't)

And about that thing that you haven't recieved your first stronghold, you do have to visit the keep (I visit it ervey seven days and they always have some sort quest

I remember being away for about 30 days during spellhold/underdark and I didn't lose the keep, never have either, but I guess it is possible to lose it, not sure how though.

I also didn't lose it. You will only loose it when you got a quest for the keep to do and you leave like when you get the message that the keep will be under attack soon and you don't solve the problem soon enough...

I think you only loose the keep if your Riot Rating goes up to 10 (nearly every uncompleted quest gives a 1 to this), so I suppose I shouldn't loose the keep as long as I don't miss too many of the quests. Thanks for the posts though,
