    Hi everyone,
im trying out a partial multiplayer game with an evil party having a crack at the tactics mod.
    My current party:
    Roh-wan - LE human monk
Tycho - CE elf bounty hunter
    Korgan
    Viconia
    Edwin
    Valen
i was always in as hurry to get to spellhold as i wanted Imoen in the party as i am lacking in the arcane area.
I took Valen along just as a temporary companion until i could swop her for Imoen.
My dilema is that i am seriously getting into Valens cool special abilities and am reluctant to let her go.
i cant loose my two characters and that only really leaves Korgy, Vicki (come back Jaheira, all is forgiven) or Eddy (Indispensible).
i have played Korgan many times and know that he is the best tank in the game. Does Valen continue to be as useful or does she become obselete by the time of ToB?
Which charactar do you think i should lose?

Valen becomes seriously overpowered to the point where you can easily drop Korgan and not miss him for a second.

I'll drop Korgy andd keep Valen. I do have a few questions about her:
When she is enfeebled in daylight, is there any way to speed up recovery or is it just random?
Does her main weopon stay +2 or does that improve?

At the moment i am relying on baddies crowding round her when she is in gaseous form after she has back stabbed - im a powergamer and even i can smell the stench of cheese, are there any other good tactics for her to use?

Her claws and powers improve as she lvls up. She even gets significant ability score boosts, and is able to drain many lvls with her weapon later on.
