Are there any mods that add new feats to IWD2 is this even possible? If so how would I go about doing this?

I do not know of any mods, if there are none listed in Sorcerers.net's page about IWD2 i doubt there are any noteworthy at least.

I know it is posible to add or at least change feats in the game, so it is posible. But many of the feats are hardcoded (aka they are not posible to alter, like powerattack, cleave, expertice), so only those that gives you generic stuff like skill bonuses, ac bonuses and similar is posible to alter. In other words, it would be a rather boring list of feats.

As far as I know, SP has everything that exists for IWD2 listed. I've never heard of any mods adding feats. I believe it's pretty much impossible because the core executable would have to be modified to add new ones (or fix existing ones, like Improved Initiative - otherwise Ex would have fixed it).

What about adding something like "innate spell" that gives you innate abilities?

What exactly do you want to do?

You mean the F12 button from where you activate feats like Power Attack? You can always use DK2 to add various innate spells.

Most "combat feats" like powerattack and expertice already adds just a "spell-like ability" to your "special" button. Example is Expertice, you find it in SPIN276.SPL if using a program such as winbiff or nearinfinity.

I do not recal exactlly where i found the normal skill feats. I will be looking.

On a similar note, it always anoyed me that they didnt just make *one* feat in D&D for picking any 2 skills and gain +2 bonus to each, or any one savingthrow +1 and one skill at +2 bonus. Instead of having a multitude of feats just for adding that. Akin to Skill Focus, wich gives +3 in any one skill. they could have made a similar for two skills with +2 each.

As such It should also be posible to just replace most of the "skill bonus feats" with other feats giving "inate abilities" but not that interesting for me, since most of the existing "inate's" are hardcoded, so its almost imposible to add any interesting new feats from teh rule books.

Easiest might be to craft an item that gives you the wanted abilities. A ring or potentionally a potion or such that gave you the listed abilities permanentlly. If you want to get more adventuring, you might want to try to replace some of the feats that give skill bonuses. I do not remember how to do that.
