[IMG] I was wondering: what is the best/coolest/worst Race/Class according to you guys? Nobody seems to care about halflings or gnomes here(from what I've seen). All comments and opinions are welcome. ;)

Well, I am a big halfling fan, but now that humans (and more specifically their subraces) can take a feat in luck of heroes, the +1 bonus to savingthrows that Halflings get isn't an advantage over other races anymore.

    Well, that's a good statement!
Humans are good all-rounders, but I like the Drow, they are definatly the coolest!!(together with dwarves)

I am always partial to the ECL races... mainly because I think they are more fun to roleplay, and add some variety to a party, instead of just having all humans.

I also tend to roleplay evil characters, so choosing Tieflings, drow, duergar, and svirfneblin are often natural choices...

    so, here is my list:bad:

    Tiefling rogue or wizard
    drow rogue or wizard
    duergar fighter or cleric
deep gnome monk, cleric, or druid
    half-orc fighter/barbarian

[IMG] Those are good choices for an evil party! But you need some attack power so make the duergar a fighter and the gnome preferably a druid. ;)

[IMG] Maybe you aren't as wise as you think you are... ;) He said those where his favourite characters/classes, not his party.

Anyway, I always seem to steer toward Tieflings, Half-Elves or Halflings. Some of my favourite roleplaying characters have been halflings in the past.
Favourite class is Ranger or Sorcerer. I always play sorcerer, heh. :D Mmmm...Halfling Sorcerer.
