I searched for previous quote topics, I didn't find anything that asked for "favourite quotes" in general, so what are your favourite quotes?
I have tonnes, so I'll wait a while to post mine

I actually think about these three quite often in my life. They're a great source of inspiration for me.

evolution by natural selection is slow and gradual. it doesn't periodically take 'leaps' as implied by the first couple of lines of the x-men movie either.

First one:

That's actually a slightly altered version of a quote. The original goes something like this: "I learned in Korea that I would never..." (Utah Phillips). (I didn't fight in the Korean war, but it is a nice motto nonetheless)

ah - but the god... surely you must appreciate that "slow at the genotype level does not mean slow at the phenotype level?" For instance, industrial melanism in moths - a single base mutation...

Sapiryl, thank you for understanding.
The God, I was refering to The Big Bang Theory.
But just because I use that doesnt mean I beleive in it, I heard it and liked the sound of it.
