    i agree, drow are pretty powerful. have you downloaded that drow cleric mod so you can be a cleric of Llolth? (correct spelling?)

    Yes, but I was rather dissapointed with it, because it forced me into the Ilmater (or Lathander, I forget) dialogue options. Having a Drow Priestess of Lloth talk like a goody two shoes is a really cold shower.

    Fighter4/PalyX. Human(Extra Feats) Or Drow(Magic Resist) either way will work for me..

    Hence the "it usually boils down to". What I named are merely the most popular solo characters. There are of course others, like yours, and I know Master of Nuhn is soloing a druid.

    how is it possible to like any class except sorcerer? at times it gets hard, especially near the start and the eight chambers, but its the most fun and fulfilling.(?)
    Kabuki Man, what were you going to do about a wep thing? my fav weapon setup is a dagger in each hand and bow/crossbow.

    My Human Ranger 10/Fighter 4/Barbarian 1 is my best melee character, master of the two-short sword battle with Wepon Finesse, Wepon Focus +1 (small blade),and Wepon Focus +2 (small blade).

    Drow in the underdark.
    Duergar in the cave befora the underdark.
    And so on.

    Some form of sorcerer, id be undecided on how to build it though. I tend to fool around with stats and figure out what works best in the circumstances.
