I know everybody has a favorit pub in town and maybe also a favorit shop etc. So my questions:

    - What is your favorit Inn in Baldur's Gate?

    - And what's your favorit Shop?

    - And what's your favorit Temple?

    - What's your favorit part of the city?

    For me it is:

    - Helm and Cloak inn
    - Sorcerer's Sundries
    - The Ladies House
    - North and Southeast (cannot choose)

Do we have to do only Baldur's Gate? I don't like the big cities.

The best inn in the game is the Jovial Juggler in Beregost. The best shop is Thunderhammer's Smithy in the same town. I don't have any favourite temple, but my favourite part of Baldur's Gate is the one with the Flaming Fist HQ. It's a lot of action there ;).

    1. Elfsong.

    2. High Hedge west of Beregost.

    3. Temple of Helm in Nashkel.

    4. The museum/temple (can't remember its name).

Favorite Inn in Baldur's Gate: Ye Olde Inn (the one with the jellies atacking everyone)

Favorite Inn in the Game: Jovial Juggler

Favorite Shop: Sorcerer's Sundries if not for anything but the cool dome

Favorite Temple: (Hard to compare after seeing BG2 temples :( ) but I would say the Lady's House

Favorite Buildings: Iron Throne Tower and classy looking building with Ogre mages in it

Favorite Part of City: hard to determine since it's not as segmented as Athkatla but I would say the section with Entar Silvershield's Estate.

Ah, I was talking about the city Baldur's Gate, not the game :) I forgot Elfsong wich is also great, and the Frienly Arm Inn and Fieldposte Inn too. ANd then my favorit shop would be the Thunderhammer Smithy. But I was talking about the city itself, so I want a new opinion ;)

Well, it has been a long while since I last played BG, so I can't remember exactly.

Favorite Inn: the cheapest (Am I sounding too much Dutch?)

    Favorite Shop: Sorcerer's Sundries

Favorite Temple: I don't really have a favorite temple

Hehe, Silverblade :) The cheapest one.... I think you are more Dutch then I am :) I love the Friendly Arm Inn because it's just in the wilderness and there is no city or town but just a few houses and a great Inn. That's why you have in FAM the best chance to meet many adventures and the lowest chace to meet drunk citizens.

[IMG] No cities for me...I like the beautiful Sword Coast and the lighthouse there.

I also like the wilderness in BG, and that is what I miss in BG2, the wilderness. But sometimes it is a relief to be in a city again, where the beds are better then the beds in the wilderness, where I can drink a beer and heal from the perils of the last adventures, and where I can buy and sell weapons to be prepared for what will come next.
