What the crap is this, my reputation after the Mindflayers area with the two Slayer changes dropped to 7, now all of a sudden my class is Fallen Ranger, I can't use Cerebus, and I can't hide. What the crap indeed.

[IMG] Have you done your sthonghold quest? If you haven't then you can regain your ranger status by completing the quest and DO check your reputation especially with that slayer transformation and all.

    Yeah I've done the stronghold.

My reputation got low when there was an accident whilst fighting some vampires. An innocent lady got killed.

What is Cerebus? Anyhow, if you lose your ranger status, you are hooped. One piece of advice is not to let your scripts go crazy on you -- I often have the game pause when a target is killed or something so that things cannot get out of hand. Collateral damage to bystanders is also why I don't use spells like fireball and lightning bolt.
Could you use Shadowkeeper to change things back?

It's a summonable dog that's a reward for part of the ranger stronghold quest.

    No.

If you have Cerebus, doesn't that mean you've finished the Stronghold? I guess that means that you're basically stuffed as far as getting your class back. That happened to me when I first played as a Ranger and accidentally killed some peasants.

IIRC, Cerebus is the reward for the second of the three stronghold quests. It's been over two years since I've played a ranger through, so my memory might be failing.

If he has finished the quests, correct.
