[IMG] Before I ask my question I just want to say that the everybody who has put effort into making sorcerers have done a fantastic job, it is a great site and the forums have helped me alot.

    Now to the question.

I do not have a Fallen Paladin but I am just curious...

What is the difference between a Paladin and a fallen one (apart from the title). Do the lose anything and if so do they gain anything as well?

If you could end my curiousity I would be greatful.

    Thanks

Correct me if I am wrong - its been a while since I came across a fallen Paladin - but if my memory serves me right, a Fallen Paladin can no longer advance in the Paladin class - but becomes just a plain old vanilla Fighter.

As I said, it has been quite some time, so the rules may have changed somewhat since then.

They lose all of their abilities and become plain fighters.

I think stealth thinks that the word "fallen" is part of the title, like "dark" paladin or Anti-Paladin or something... (there was an Anti-Paladin Gith in BG2, IIRC).
Fallen is an adjective, meaning that Paladin did evil deeds, or unlawful deeds, and his God "fired" him. He's no longer a Paladin. (A Paladin must be Lawful Good).
You can't really create a fallen Paladin. And I don't know how you can make a Paladin "fall" in IWD2. Perhaps if you go around killing innocent people.

Not sure about IWD2 but in IWD I created a Paladin and had him hack down some bystanders. It only took about 2 before he 'fell'.

I then exported him into my new game as a Fallen Paladin. Why? I was trying to create a 'story' feel outside of the game itself.
