[IMG] If you go the Evil way in the end of the game(Bhaal's teats) with a ranger, he will become fallen. If you then export him and do the ranger stronghold, wouls you then become an evil(non-fallen) ranger?

A fallen Ranger becomes a Fighter. So no.

    (Bhaal's teats? I think that's a typo there. ;) :p )

And welcome to the Boards!

    Whoa!

    I'm almost confused.

I don't really know, but I'm just guessing here. I bet there's a "fallen" check on the Ranger stronghold. If you're fallen, I bet you never get the dialogue for it.

    Extremist would know.

There's no dialogue for being fallen, but I've heard stronghold quests restore your lost paladin/rangerhood. Being an evil ranger is however so much against d&d rules that I believe they made sure nothing like that happens. One more thing you must remember though: your alignment is still what you've chosen at the beginning, the change is applied as an effect 'only' (not dispellable). This way SK would show your character as CG/NG/LG aligned.

I don't know ranger but it would work with Paladin, they are checking your "fallen" status after 3rd mission of stronghold.I remember that there was same thing for rangers.

After every Paladin mission I had my abilties "restored" to me.

I never lost them because I never fell. The first time confused me when the messages said 12-16 times gained ablity detect evil/protection from evil. I guess this is for those who fail and are fallen. They get back on track.

Don't know about the ranger though...
