Extracting Area files?

    I can't get the slums and other areas to load. Is there a utility which can extract BIF files to the area directory? I've tried every thing else susch as patching, reloading, etc. The areas reload when I start a new game. What's going on?

    TeamBG has some graphics tools that you could use. I'm not sure if that will help. When you uninstall, do you empty/delete your Temp folder or/and defrag or/and delete the directory?

    And what exactly do you mean by "The areas reload when I start a new game"? Sorry if that should be obvious...

    I am not sure it will solve your problem, but the tool you are looking for is WinBIFF. You can use DLTCEP too. Both can be found at TeamBG site.
