Well what would people like to see in any possible future expansion for bG2?

Well what I would like to see is a specific stronghold for Monk characters.

More romance plots ie Nalia for example.

A quest to discover the fate of Waukeen and rescue her.

Extra NPC's to use for example, a Half-Orc Barbarian and Monk would be nice.

Add-ons don't really concern me as they just add a few places new to explore. I never got TOSC myself and I'm not sure if I'll get a BG2 expansion unless it has the following:

    * New story, new plot, new starting location.

    * Key chains I'd love to see for all these annoying keys I have taking up one inventory slot.

    * Auto re-load for arrows and bullets if they are currently in one or more inventory slots.

    * Right click spell descriptions when the game is paused and you're looking for a spell to cast, yet can't recall what the icon of it does in your spell list during battle.

    * More city activity. A city like Athkatla should be bustling with people and not a city full of statics standing around waiting for you to talk to them. Each NPC should be doing something, based on time, race, sex and location.

    * More NPC diversity and reaction adjustments based on character looks, race and sex. One NPC may speak with someone if they're a Human Female while that same NPC may simply walk out of the room in disgust if you're a Half-Orc Male and go to their room, close the door and lock it. More world depth in general.

    * Dragons that don't watch you set up around them and let you roam freely in their lair. Real dragons to put it bluntly. The dragons in BG2 are a joke and are far from the legendary, fearful dragons told in Bards Tales and my pa-pa during bed time stories when I was little! The Dragons in BG2 are more like piata's dangling on a rope.

    * Much better monster AI, organization, group work and schemes.

    * An engine where add-ons were simply add-ons and not ones that cost you. Once you pay for the original game, add-ons can be downloaded automatically by the game engine from the internet, where it updates part of the world, thus the game continues to grow at a worth while pace by the designers of the original game. Making it better and allowing for the growth of the engine and game world rather than using the money they've made for a new product and new engine from scratch. A game thought for the future, not for the now. Wouldn't you like to buy a game based in the Forgotten Realms world and know that in 2-3 months time a new add-on or add-ons will be available to you that only add to your existing product? All it does is download it once it becomes available and now a new city become available, updates NPCs in the current game world who's quest flags have been marked to lead you to these new locations, OR you can just go there yourself and see what happens.

Add-ons like these are a waste of money and not worth my time (in my opinion) and should have been in the original game to the purchaser to begin with. An add-on to me is like saying "You bought an incomplete product and we're sorry, but here, buy this and you'll see it was well worth the wait!"

The only good thing about them is to study them and see exactly what a game needs that should have been in the original product to begin with.

Well then you prolly arnt getting an expansion then. Because most that crap will not be done for quite a while in these type of games...

Though i like the new starting location idea.

So in other words your saying you just bought the game version of any operating system. Its incomplete, and never will be completed.

By your standards here Buying a sequal kinda like buying another half to the game you prolly already have... Which brings up the question, Why did ya buy BG2 then?

That crap you spit in my direction in saying it will not be done in awhile is already in the works my good cyber chap, but speaking anything of the sort would get me tied up in legal issues that I would rather avoid.

I bought BG2 because of how it was packaged, sold and distributed by its marketing team. Obviously, I had no other choice.
