So I followed the instructions from this site: http://www.reddit.com/r/gaming/comments/cebua/step_by_step_moddingguide_turn_baldurs_gate_and/

and successfully installed the mods... I chose 'standard' and checked off maybe a store or two extra on top of all the standard mods that are included.

I want to play from the beginning of BG all the way through.

    1. I think it said something about creating a character in ToB THEN starting in BG. Is this true? Do I use the ToB character creation and then import into BG?

    2. I'm trying to play as a sorceror, yet I'm noting that several spells which are normally at certain levels, i.e. stoneskin at level 4, I can't choose in the character creation process. I can choose other level 4 spells, but not that one. Is this a specific mod? Is there a way to scroll up and down through the spell display that I'm missing? THEY CAN'T TAKE MY STONESKIN!

    3. How do I remove specific mods that I had installed using that interface?

I don't even understand the difference between the big picture, weidu, BGT, and the BiG world thing I used... Help?

BGT is a continuos world from BG to BG2TOB, using game engine of BG2TOB.
Tutu is a mod for BG, allowing you play BG with BG2 engine.

If you want to play BGT, choose Baldurs Gate instead of Throne of Bhaal. Single Player. Then choose New game instead of New Baldur gate 2. You will start in BG. make a character and play normally.

BG2 start with the assumption that you import from BG1, therefore you start with 89000xp.

TOB start you with even more xp.

2- I am not sure about the cause of your predicament, but you can use Shadowkeeper to edit your save game, so that you can swap a level 4 spell with stoneskin. Easy enough fix, methinks.
