I have managed to make a party where everyone has someone to support him, check and tell me what do you think. Is a good aligned one, so you'll miss some of the most popular NPCs

Mages-Imoen/Nalia and Aerie for defensive and offensive spells, a whole lot of them in the end.

Clerics-Aerie and Anomen, same tactic as above

    Fighters-Dual-Class Fighter/bard(myself), Minsc-again the good aligned restrictions-Keldorn.
That makes two mages, two clerics, two dual-class fighters-who can achieve grandmastery in a weapon-a ranger and a Paladin
Any suggestions to make it even better?

Ye can't have Fighter/Bard if I understood your post correctly. Go as a theif of some sort yourself, or take Jan - those are the only level-up-able choices (well, Yoshimo, though he'll*spoiler*

I INTENDED to play a Fighter/bard, I didn't know I couldn't. I know what yoshimo plans, its my fourth run. I just didn't want to take a thief again. I think I could take Jan, but I think three mages in a party are too many mages. Thx anyway.

You picked one of the few classes a fighter CAN'T dual class into. Bards, paladins, monks, and sorcerers can't dual class.

Don't think of Jan as a mage, think of him as a theif with some spells ;)

I always go with Jan, since I almost never play as a theif myself, and find Imoen and Nalia too crappy. One of the few bad things in this game IMO. You can't have all I guess, BG2 is close enough :money:

Just a note, Barbarians can't dual either, only valid multi-classes.

Rangers can't dual-class either, which is wierd because they can multi-class.

Wrong, they can! You just need the proper stats......

IIRC, you need 17 str, 17 con and 17 wis to dual a ranger. Atleast 17 wis.

ALL valid multi-classes can be dualed as well if you got the proper stats - normally 17 your prime requisite, both your first and second class.
