Hi everybody, I read this somewhere and wanted to share it with you:

It seems that the American version of NWN is version 1.10, and the version that will come out in Europe is version 1.11. The patch that Bioware came with is an upgrade from 1.10 to 1.18 and it seems not possible to upgrade from version 1.11 to 1.18, it causes versionconflicts. So there is a special patch (32 MB) to upgrade from version 1.11 to version 1.18: The patch can be downloaded by clicking here .

[IMG] Great news for those on 56k modems!
Buy a new game and prepare for it by downloading a 32MB (33,681 kb) patch before the game is in the stores. :nolike:

Can you demand to get the patch sent on cd by snail mail? If not, I really think you should!

I know it is sad news for modemmers but patches get larger and larger, that's with all games. It's already a bit strange to get a multiplayer-oriented game when you have a 56 modem :)

Best thing to do is to visit a friend with (A)DSL or Cable or T1, download the file and copy it on a cd-rewritable.

Earl Grey, I'd imagine that that patch will probably make it's way onto a CD of some game magazine.
