Error

    [​IMG] when i play bg and need to change cd then a message comes up;
    error:media removed from file

    it is really enoying

    i cant fit in a recommanded install so i have only a minimum

    it is stuff like this that makes me sometimes hate bg1...


    ...and i love it really much

    Try cleaning your CD. The game that I originally bought came in the poster board cover and that tended to scratch the CD's. I ended up buying another set

    If it has never worked go to the shop and ask for a new CD set.

    Is what you are getting:

    error: media removed from drive ?

    And is it on the "Blue Screen of Death"?

    If it is there is a thread that just started on the Black Isle message board. I'll keep tracking it for you if this is what you are getting.

    The other solution is to try to re-install the game. If you have enough space, do a full install (If that 's available, I can't remember),

    DO you also have ToTSC installed?

    When you have enough space, just do a full install. Then you don't need to switch cd's anymore.

    [​IMG] I know this is off topic, but when I did a full install with BG2, I still had to put in the first CD on start up. What's with that? It never did ask me to change disk's though.

    [The reason is to make it more difficult for people to "share" the game without purchasing it - BTA]
