    i'm in the ice palace, at least that's what i'm calling it :)
    there is an illusionary wall/door that says "EMBRACE THE SHADOW". what does that mean? it's how you get into the room according to the text. i've tried hiding in shadows with my rogue but that doesn't work. anyone care to explain it to me please? please tell me it doesn't have something to do with the invisibility spell. i don't have that spell.

    there's a shadow on the floor that gives damage. if one character stands on it, another can open the door on the other side of tthe room

    I'll tell you. The way to enter that room is to go to the Painting (of Kuldahar frozen over), speak to it and say "Lysan". You'll be teleported inside, where there's a shadow on the door and stretching the the floor. One of your chars must stand on the shadow (taking damage if he's Good aligned), only then can you open the other door. Now WHY you must do all this is something you best figure out yourself.

    ok. got in there and got the door open. had my only non-good character, CN, stand on the shadow while another character opened the door. the CN character took damage even though she's non-good. now my problem is that i can't get the door with the shadow over it open. what am i missing? what tells you how to do these things. there's got to be something that at least hints about this stuff. what am i overlooking? :confused:

    Isn't there a lightning machine and mirrors that you can adjust around the place? It's been a while so I might be misremembering.

    yes but i don't see how the lightning bolt would get to that door. of course there's a couple other doors i don't know how it got to but it did so i'll give it a try anyway. thanks.

    well it worked. don't see how the bolt go to the door but it worked anyway :)

    there is a cheat code that will get you into any room. If you want it then message me and i'll send you it. I won't put it on here because if people don't want to know it then I'm not gonna spoil things for them!

    Akridian, it's because there are those mirrors in that level. When you turn them into correct angles, they will bounce the bolt all the way to the door.

    Be careful though, the bolt can bounce back and break the generator. You then have to go get it fixed but it's not too hard

    yea i broke it once and had to reload. you can get it fixed? how? doesn't matter i guess. i just reloaded :)

    To get it fixed you go to the battle square area and play with the levers until Temple Maintenance floats above one of the levers.
