Edwin's quest

    I have just finished Edwin's quest and my question is how long I have to wait for him to turn into a woman.

    Or is there perhaps some global variable I can change in Shadow Keeper to make it happen?

    It doesn't take all that long. You did let him keep the Nether Scroll didn't you? If you responded that the scroll is party treasure nothing will happen (i.e., he will never change). It takes Edwin five days (game time) to significantly translate the scrolls -- he'll talk to you about it and get a significant boost. After another 24 hours he make another discover and ... well the fun begins.

    Nalia, Minsc, Anomen, and Jaheira all have great dialogs with the new Edwin. Minsc had me rolling.

    I now have an extra female party member in the group. :)

    How long does it take for him to change back?

    Why would you want that? The dialogues are excellent. I personally felt the little Edwina portion was the best part of the entire series, magnificent job!

    About twenty in game days -- and it's only done in town. If you hurry you can keep Edwina throughout the underdark. It is also possible to kill the guy that is supposed to change Edwina back and she stays as is.

    I never had Jan in the party when Edwin changes to Edwina, but I would imagine, since he's a real smarta$$ as it is, that he would as well...

    The elf in the Copper Coronet (if he's still there) I believe has an interesting dialog with Edwina. I'm not sure, usually Jaheira takes care of him long before the ... transformation.

    Be sure to save your game before talking to the elf in the CC. The resulting fireworks are pretty... messy :lol:
