Is there an editor out there (dudududududuuuuu)which lets you edit your profiency slots?? I'd spent (terribly wrong) some 3 points into kantanas and well, that's just not necessary with so many REALLY nice longswords in the game... thus I decided to spend my points rather in dual wield

Yes and no. Yes, because it's obviously making the game easier on the basis of acquired information (in these cases the availability of weapons). No, because I didn't use it to beef my character up, I just changed the allotted points. The other way to do this would have been to start afresh. I just took a short cut. The frustration of going through everything again would by far outweigh the loss in gameplay that I have experienced by 'tweaking within the limits'.

[IMG] Hey, hooligan, what about reading before posting? Sorry, didn't want to overcharge your brahmin mind, so now again, real slooooooooooow: take 3 prof points, spend them in other category; that's no cheating to me; cheating means boost your char up to max stats, give him all the cute +125 six-handers and stuff. oh, anyway, can't recall having asked you for your ยง$%&ed-up opinion

Anyone know if there are any editors out there that can edit items? I want to change that stupid amulet of power so my paladin can use it, tired of toting around all those restoration scrolls.

There are tons, but trying to actually use the bloody thing is a seperate matter entirely. TeamBG.com has one.

God I am such a hypocrit

ahhh yes hooligan, making friends again i see. well, the way i see it, if you edit the game in anyway to suit your fancy, its cheating. but i guess it all depends on how you look at it. i do admit i have cheated. i have used XPCap removers, and cheat codes for both BG and IWD, but i always beat the game without cheating a couple of times.

in the case of picking the wrong Prof., i would say deal with it. finish the game as you started it, or begin a new one. i myself ran into this problem the first time through. i realized about half way through i should have put a few more points towards Two-Handed Fighting Style, but i just dealt with it, and everything turned out fine in the end.

i have never used an editor of any sort, so i cant really help with the topic, but if you are using one from teambg, make sure you download the "install packages" first, and read the literature that comes with the programs, its there for a reason.
