I'm still not really sold on the idea of NWN or its expansions but I was messing around with the toolset the other day just to see what could be done. Now I don't know if I'm missing something here, but I didn't see an option to edit the original campaign or any of the expansions. I can create modules that are just individual games but there didn't seem to be any way to edit the official games at all.

Is there a way or have I just missed something incredibly obvious?

When you start up the aurora engine, I think you get an option to open up one of the official chapters. I think you could also tranfer the OC files into modules folder and then back. Not 100 percent positive, but I think that's how you do it.

Thanks. I'll give that a try.

once you have begun one of the official modules (each chapter is considered separate), it will appear in the "official campaigns" list. an alternative is typing a code into your "nwn.ini" file, which also "unlocks" the module and allows it to appear on the list. an even better alternative is the copy the *.NWM file you want to edit into the \modules directory, rename it to *.mod, remove the Read-Only flag, and open it in the toolset.
