GamerGod has posted an article looking into the questing system of Turbine's upcoming Dungeons & Dragons Online: Stormreach MMORPG. It starts from the perspective of a party gathered by a warforged paladin. Here's a snip:

Since we looked at combat last time, this time I’d thought we’d look at DDO’s questing system, where most combat will take place. Instead of looking at the various issues and functions in a more formal style, we’ll take a look at it through a fictional story of DDO’s questing system from the point-of-view of a sample party. Please Note, the quest was made up especially for this article and is not in DDO. Descriptions of the characters and what they do in the quest are italicized for easy separation of the story and the description.

Our party starts with a lone character, a Warforged Paladin (with an Adamantine Body), named Stalwart. During his exploration of Stormreach, he finds a human woman who tells him “Thieves stole my precious family heirloom; retrieve it for me and I will do what I can to repay you.” The woman has a good idea of who has stolen the heirloom as they had left their ‘calling card’. It was the calling card of a group of Bandits that live in a cave in some nearby mountains. The Paladin goes to a nearby inn and recruits some other adventurers to help him as his usual companions are currently indisposed.

This is where the Warforged Paladin would use DDO’s LFG system to find suitable adventurers as the party that he usually plays with is offline. Unfortunately, we currently do not know much about the system apart from that it will not require someone to Spam chat channels with “LFG.”

Warforged paladin... what's next? Construct paladin? And Aribeth thought it was ironic when she didn't run from herself while turning undead as a spirit. Eh. But this is actually not a matter of the game itself but of Wizards' new flagship setting called Eberron, the same one that was used in Dragonshard.
