There's a brief look at Dungeons & Dragons Online at mlive. Here's a snip:

The arrival of "Dungeons and Dragons Online: Stormreach" surely will inspire many gusty "hurrahs!" as well as plenty of jeering sneers. Some players of the classic game will find the translation of the play to online stiff and restrained, while others will get a kick out of recreating their beloved characters in 3-D.

Online game players might find the pacing and selection of character classes and monsters of Stormreach a bit routine, while others will delight in the narrative-heavy style of play.

What the game's developers over at Turbine have going for them is a real love of D&D. It shows from the careful attention to geeky details dealing with monster-hit points and saving throws, to the tumbling d20 that pops up during loading screens.
