    Inspired by Dungeons & Dragons for Dummies, GameSpy's editor Dave 'Fargo' Kosak has cooked up his own version of a rudimentary guide for those of newbies who aren't exactly a second Einstein. Here's a snip:

    Some people play Dungeons & Dragons to have an enjoyable social experience creating a unique adventure story collaboratively with a group of close friends.

    Other people play to win.

    The beauty about my guide to D&D for complete and utter idiots is that I don't make any distinction over your goals within the game. If you're playing D&D, and you're a complete and utter idiot, you will benefit from my proven super-system. If the advice on the previous page wasn't simple enough, then clip out this handy flowchart and follow the instructions!

    Read the whole 'book' at GameSpy. And see the pictures. One of the good things about books is that sometimes there are fantastic pictures. :D
