Perhaps, D.W. Bradley's Dungeon Lords has finally gone gold. Some sites are claiming that it went gold yesterday, while on the official site there is no mention of it. Nevertheless, IMO this game may be the best of both worlds, blending classic RPG elements with an action format. But the proof will be in the playing.

I will be so disappointed if this turns out to be just a turd in a box.

Are we talking ranged weapons or melee weapons here - because I can't see mostly melee weapons in FPS style not being really lame.

I tried the Demo (from the SPS area) - I played the game For around 15 minutes.

This game is not worth trying IMO. The graphics are probably real nice and the rules work too, i guess.

But I'm having massive trouble controlling the game and my character. I have this problem with a lot of 3d games, all i got was a head ache

I tried the demo also, and while the game looked really cool, I crashed it everytime I ran it. I finally just gave up. But what I played of it looked promising.

The demo has way too many bugs and I hope that's not an indication of the quality of the game itself.

But it is not FPS-style at all. It reminds me more of NWN ;)
