Dual wielding legally

    Is it possible to use some of the bg2 files to make it possible to dual wield instead of having to use dalekeeper to do it?

    Heh, right to the point, eh Tal? :cool: I do remember reading that dual-wielding did exist in ToL. If that's installed, does it allow you to dual wield in the original game?

    Jesper, rangers do get a bonus attack if they don't use a shield.

    I read something on this once.

    There is a way to dual wield, but no "legally". Whatever *THAT* means.

    Anyways, it was taken out of the game for balance. I think the answer is as easy as using dalekeeper to load yourself, and then you get the full benefits of dual wield; just like BG2.

    "Balance" is a totally subjective term, too. There is always a way to make a game harder; but there's not always a way to make it easier...

    [​IMG] I have no idea where you heard that dual wielding was in ToTL. It isn't. ToTL is just extra areas, items and monsters, nothing else. It doesn't alter the game in any way, least of all adding dual wielding.
