[IMG] According to the manual, clerics/druids should be able to memorize all the existing clerical spells once they get to a level that allows casting that level of spells. However, that druid you get in the Friendly Arm in only has 6/10 spells available - why is this and how do I fix it?

Jaheira is a fighter/druid and her wisdom is only 14, so she won't get all clerical spells (the amount you get is based on your wisdom score)

Are you sure about that last one ?
I mean, Jaheira is a DRUID, no Cleric. They don't get the same spells. And IMHO, the amount of spells in your 'spellbook' has nothing to do with wisdom. All priests get a predefined amount of spells. (it's inteligence that alters the amount of spells a mage can put in his spellbook)

BTW: if you want ALL priest-spells, get yourself a dual or multi ranger/cleric. They get all spells from the beginning

In BG druid and cleric spells aren't separated ok. Clerics also get to cast druid spells (probably also goes the other way around)...
It isn't by the rules, I know.
It'll be fixed in BG II though...

nonsense, clerics in BG don't get Goodberries or call lightning and such.
As for wisdom, imo it only alters the amount of spells you can _memorize_ and the max level spells you get, not the spells you _know_.

Several BioWare people have stated that BG1 was messed up so that they could both cast spells from the same pool (search the BGC archives for some of those keywords if you don't believe me).
When I played they were all separated alright (Jaheira was the only one with Entangle and such)...
Tell them that they're wrong then. Maybe the guy who said that played a pre-release version or something and is still spreading those rumours around.

The way Baldur's gate plays is the same as the AD&D rules, so just like in AD&D, druids are limited to priest spell of certain spheres of magic and clerics aren't allowed spells from certain spheres.
