I dropped Minsc in favor of Keldorn, and the only drawback (as someone mentioned) is losing his two weapons skill points. I also use Anomen (because a decent Celric + fighter) and I've been putting his points into Warhammer for Crom (eventually).

I've made kind of a strange decision which is to keep Cernd. I know all hate him, but I like the idea of having a druid (with their summoning spells) who can transform into a greater werewolf with magic weapon.

But I may change my mind and swap Crnd for Minsc.
    My party is:

    Sorcerer
    Keldorn
    Anomen
    Jaheira
    Yoshimo (Iomen)
    Cernd

I tend to play a summoner style, so I like all the elementals (with no control contest) of the two druids.

I like have all chars that can spellcast AND fight (Keldorn's True Sight are great).

But the one drawback (as mentioned above) is that Keldorn is good for 2H (and Carm) and Anomen will use Crom (eventually). But with Minsc I could have a two-handed guy for the plethora of one-handed weapons (I do like Anomen using a shield).

Any feedback? Has anyone else tried sticking with Cernd to his 13th level Greater Werewolf? I know all like Minsc, but I find him a little one-dimensional. And I only find myself needing two frontline fighters... especially with lots of summoned Elementals helping out in fights.

I did pretty much the same. Keldorn and Anomen (when a Knight and with Crom Faeyr)make a very good front line.

Minsc is good but after a while after hearing him say the same lines over and over you get pretty ick of him I found.

Regardless of what some may say Cernd IS a useful addition to the party. He is a great fighter when in Greater Werewolf form, has great summoning capability and lots of good healing spells to boot. AC can be a problem but Gaunts of Dex, Bracers AC3 and Ring +2 should sort that out (keldorn possibly needs the Gaunts however).
