Dragon's Eye Spoiler! question

I've had problems in Dragon's Eye. Putting the mandrake on the wrong table, not talking to the prisoner/mage in the right way at the right time; The Thoss..ect priest disappearing instead of dying, and so forth. I've spent too much time wandering confused.

Now I'm at the end. I've poisoned the 4 wells. Everybody is dead. And the door that I've been trying to open by poisoning the wells is still shut. It had been giving me updates telling me that one, then two, then three of the tubes had poison--now it tells me nothing, almost like I had not poisoned anything. And it is locked.

What's going on here? I've read a couple of walkthroughs of this section, trying to figure out what I did wrong, but it's not anything obvious.

Help.

 

Did you go back to Hrothgar's Glen and acquired 'Cera Sumat' by killing "The Lost Followers"?
No. Then you should do it.

Just kidding.

I assume you found the treasury room where the fourth well is. Did you kill Thorasskus where you first met him? If you haven't, you should find him at the square with the snake statue.

 

I did find him in the snake area. Taught me the use of those sanctuary potions.

Now he's dead. And the hydro-door near that area that I thought I was trying to open by poisoning the water isn't willing to open.

The only thing left is to talk to the prisoner after his transformation.

I have no pali, but I'm going to Hroth for the xp and the $ benefit.

Had that same problem, but I used the console, and movetoarea-command, worked fine...
