DragonLance Adventures Chat Log at NWVault

    NWVault has posted a short article about the DragonLance Adventures Permanent World of Krynhnhaven for Neverwinter Nights, along with chat logs. Here's what the article says:

    DragonLance Adventures (DLA) took part in a chat with the DragonLance Permanent World Krynnhaven, as an informal part of NWcon III this afternoon. They discussed a wide ranging number of topics for over two hours of which the full text of the transcript is now available here.

    At the chat, DLA confirmed that as part of their work for BioWare's Digital Distribution project, a forthcoming Premium Module produced by BioWare will include some all new models making use of a new animation supermodel designed specifically for underwater creatures. There was lots more. A new NWmax release with "dozens and dozens" of new features was confirmed for a February release. DLA announced they are forming a new NWN Forums supersite and will host several of the larger NWN projects free of charge. DLA's NexusJnr explained that the team wanted to give back to the community and they are able to do so using funding DLA has received from BioWare's DD program. These new forums and site hosting program will be implmented in March of this year. We'll post more on this new initiative as we learn more.

    Lastly, DLA showed off a new picture of a creature DLA has created for DLA1, the Ogre. The DLA Ogre is a hybrid skinmesh/segmented model at about 1300 polygons and has been rigged with additional new animation support for both weapons and shields. Additional screenshots can be found in the full text of the chat log. For those that missed it, DLA will answer follow up questions from the community on their forums.
