Here are today's Dragon Age forum highlights, taken from the Dragon Age Official Forum. Please take into account that these are only single parts of various threads and should not be taken out of context. Bear in mind also that the posts presented here are copied as-is, and that any bad spelling and grammar does not get corrected on our end.

Is there Adult Content in DA?

Heh, go watch the TV edit of Clockwork Orange or Saving Private Ryan and say that again with a straight face. ;)
That's really not the same thing. The TV edit doesn't have 'implicit adult themes' or whatever, it HAD explicit ones but they were cut out. The same movies could've been made reasonably well if the guys who made the movie actually intended them to contain implicit themes. Or whatever.
Precisely. The films in question did not have implicit themes to begin with, so of course they're not going to show through in a television edit.

there has also been discussion of this game being ported over to the xbox360... so maybe? We'll find out in a year or so ;)
How about now? :) Dragon Age is a PC game. There are no plans to bring it to the 360.

Can you guys be sure of that before you work out a publishing deal? Like, if Microsoft was the publisher and they wanted you (or somebody else) to port the game for 360, couldn't you be locked into doing so?
Designing a compelling RPG for the PC is radically different than making one for a console system. Unless its designed for both from the start (a la KotOR) it would be a failure to try and "convert" it. No publisher really wants to go down that road.

We are designing an RPG for the PC. We are looking for a publisher to join us.

note: please don't start OS flame wars in this thread. The posts will be edited/deleted and the offenders will get temporary bans.
