Does set traps give any synergy for find traps?

    Nope, but they must have thought about it for a while because they decided to implement that in the following D&D games (the Neverwinter Nights series).

    They just made it a bit different in NWN / 3e. In BG it's find and disarm as the same skill, but setting is separate, in NWN spot and disarm is a separate skill. I forget what they do with setting traps in NWN, as I never did it.
