Do you allow to be mazed by the Lady of Pain the first time?

    Hi again,

Great game, what can I say, makes me ask you guys a lot of questions. :)

I know the second time she mazes you - you die.
So do you always get yourself mazed on purpose(deliberately) the first time, so you can take the items from the maze, for the sake of map-exploring and see the nice cinematic with the Lady of Pain?

    1. Do you guys do it every time?
    2. Will it affect the conversation with the Lady of Pain, and her attitude towards me near the end of the game?

    Thanks

What conversation? You won't be able to engage her in any conversation.
I go for her maze by saying the priest of Aoskar that I am going to become a worshiper of Aoskar. The Brimstone Hammer is a pretty neat weapon so early in the game.

On a related note... I often worship Aoskar and go the maze, but in the last games I've played I don't get the brimstone hammer, but Vrocks feather or some such, nice enough weapon but with "fragile" and occationally breaks. So much less usefull than the Brimstone hammer. Just curious if it is becose of patch, or random drop ?

Not every time, but as Redrake says, the Brimstone hammer is pretty neat this early in the game. If you're not into hammers, it can always be sold for a goodish load of jink. ;)

Once you get out of the maze, you're not in any kind of trouble with the Lady - but don't catch her eye again! ;)

IIRC, the brimstone hammer is replaced with the feather in the restoration pack. So if you've installed that, the hammer is not available.

I don't go out of my way to get mazed, but usually end up doing something that pisses her off. Depends on the character I'm playing. My chaotic TNO worshipped Aoskar, my evil TNO killed a dabus, and the first time I played the game I worshipped her doll just for fun. I think going through the maze and reading the journal there is an interesting part of the game (if completely optional)
