I don't know if it's because of some mod or if it's normal, but I just manage to pull through the Beholder Lair in the Underdark, slept two times. If I slept longer, them Drows would come and call my bluff. As far as I remembered, you only had to do the quest with Sola and Phaere on a deadline, not once you got the blood quest from the Matron Mother.

Anywho, is it possible to do the other lairs later? I kind of want the Girdle and Hilt of the Equalizer, though I don't feel like loading back such a long way back.

Afair, yes. You can just re-enter the Underdark a a later stage by going through the Elven ruins, and then through the Kuo-Toa lair.

I always do lairs quest BEFORE even firstly talking to Adalon. It is more convenient IMHO. Thus I can do all Ust-Natha quests without any delay. I reccomend you to do so too!

I did all the lairs before I went to the Drow city too. You had penty of time to rest, die and relaod. I did a lot of power word reload down there in the underdark my first trip through.

Decided to run through the Illithid Lair before giving the eggs to Avalon. If necessary, I can always turn into the Slayer and walk through most of the place in no time. Since Adalon beem me up Scotty into the Kua-Toa Lair, it might just as well get a hand with them guards there, before I do the rest of the lair.

Thanks all! I'll remeber to go through them lairs before I go into Ust Natha next time. :)

Yeah, I also do the lairs before talking to Adalon. Unless you rushed to Spellhold, your characters are probably not going to be signficantly better by waiting until afterwards anyway. While there are a boatload of XPs in Ust Natha, it's not so many that you're going to level more than once, perhaps twice. So, except in exceptional cases, doing the lairs first is usually the way to go.
