[IMG] I have been flooded with quests in the game. I've only done a half-dozen or so by now (poison man, circus, talking sword, freeing slaves, etc.), but I don't know which of the many unfinished quests I should pursue first - some of them have you leaving the city, for example, and I'm not sure if my characters will be powerful enough (they are all around 9th level). Are there certain quests that I should leave until I reach higher levels? Are there other quests that are no brainers? Should I complete all the inner-city quests before going to, for example, the Druid Grove or Nalia's Village?

Does anyone have any advice as to what order would be best to do quests in? Help!

I suggest you hit De'Arnise Hold as that was the first quest I did after the Circus Tent and after picking up Nalia from The Copper Cornet.

It's a great challenge at level 9 and a lot of fun as well.

I don't suggest doing any of the Dragon or Lich quests that you'll come across at your current level and the Unseeing Eye Quest from the Temple of Helm is also pretty tough at your current level. Planar Sphere too, but do-able.

    I suggest:

    De'Arnise Hold
    Trademeet < Very easy!
    Umar Hills + Temple Ruins
    Windspear Hills

I actually did the Umar Hills/Temple Ruins first (apart from the circus tent that is) and it was doable... Magic weapons are a must though (+1 is fine).

[IMG] Not to mention that Nalia will begin to bitch and moan if you hold off doing her quest.

[IMG] Trademeet and Umar Hills are pretty easy peasy, you dont have to do Temple ruins next. Then I'd do a bunch of 'Down Town' quests before going to Windspear Hills

I didn't think Umar Hills was that easy. I mean to complete the quest isn't too hard, but there is a fairly difficult giant lizard near the end. Especially for a low level party. You just don't have the spell casting firepower to take on a dragon.

I did all the in city quests first(except litches, temple district slavers, twisted rune, and vamps/thieves). One of the last in the city I did was the cult of the unseeing eye. I also wich I had waited to do the Haer Dalis quest till 2nd to last in the city quests. After Athklana, go do Trademeet, Nalia's Keep, Umar Hills, Planar Sphere, Temple Slavers, Temple Ruins, and Windspear Hills. Then move on to Chap 3 and do the vamps/thieves. Save Gaxx the Demi Litch and Twisted Ruin for later.

Of course this is out the window if you want to move on through chapter 4 quickly to get Imoen back. After thinking about it since I got Imoen back, I'd try to keep my experience close to 400,000 and get the $15,000 needed as quick as possible. Just be sure and equip as well as possible before leaving chap 2. Chap 3 and 4 can be done without a super high level party and it makes them at least a little challenging. Plus if you get Imoen back reasonable quick, I think she's the best thief/mage combo in the game. A little experience difference can be worked around between Imoen and your party and she still should be able to cast 8th level spells.

Where are the temple district slavers?

  11. On your map of the Temple District, there is a building marked as "Guarded Compound" in the southeast.

Are these guys associated with a quest?
I just stormed in and killed them and their feeble summoned creatures. (In truth they were a pretty hard fight!)

I found the summoned monsters harder than the fighters upstairs.

They're hinted at as slavers in a letter. I think it's in a paper you find when you're trying to rescue Nalia, but I'm not sure. That'll give you an excuse to raid the place if you need one ;).
