Do elves get +1 to hit with shortbows?

    I'm confused. The book isn't compleely clear, but I know elves in AD&D did recieve a bonus to hit with both long and short bows.

    I remember reading about someone testing this out. IIRC, elves were receiving +1 to hit with all swords and bows. It was a while go, though, so I can't say for sure. Elves and half-elves are also supposed to get sleep and charm resistance, which they are not. aVENGER incorporated a fix for the sleep and charm in one of his mods, but I'm not sure if he changed the weapon bonuses.

    Ok, that's cool.

    I can't believe they don't have the sleep and charm save bonuses, though. That's rediculous!

    ...and it is aVENGER's Rogue Rebalancing that includes the elven anf half-elven sleep/charm bonuses fix. It's a separate component so you don't have to install the whole mod if you don't want to.
